Общей основой, как для литературоведческой, так и для лингвистической стилистики являются литературный язык, особенности языка писателя и поэтическая речь, имеющая свои собственные специфические законы.
Областью исследования лингвостилистики являются функциональные стили, лингвистическая природа экспрессивного значения языка, системная характеристика и ее функции.
Литературоведческая стилистика главным образом фокусирует свое внимание на различных литературных жанрах и мировоззрении писателя.
Согласно стилистическому исследованию мы можем выделить лингвостилистику и литературоведческую стилистику.
