Основная цель практикума – формирование и развитие у обучающихся навыков профессионально-ориентированного языкового взаимодействия.
Языковой материал данного практикума подобран с учетом функционально-коммуникативного подхода и рассматривается как средство реализации речевого общения. Использованные аутентичные тексты из английских и американских источников отобраны по тематическому принципу, что позволяет показать хронологию развития дизайна, осветить этапы формирования основных направлений и отраслей, рассказать о современных тенденциях в области дизайна.
Предназначен для студентов II курса, обучающихся на факультете гуманитарного образования по специальности «Дизайн».
