2. Contacts and Damage to Property:

Damage Caused by a Vessel to Third Party Property, such as any Harbor, Dock, Pier, Quay, Jetty, Land or anything whatsoever Fixed or Movable (more commonly referred to as “Fixed or Floating Objects” or “FFO”

Damage to FFO usually occurs when a vessel is entering or leaving a port. In many countries, the owners will be strictly liable which means that the vessel will be responsible for any accidental damage, although the vessel and crew were in no way at fault.
