5. The numeral (имя числительное)
Имена числительные в английском языке делятся на количественные числительные (Cardinal Numerals), отвечающие на вопрос «сколько», и порядковые чистильные (Ordinal Numerals), отвечающие на вопрос «который».
Количественные числительные от 13 до 19 образуются прибавлением суффикса - teen к основе. Числительные, обозначающие десятки, прибавляют к основе суффикс - ty. Порядковые числительные кроме первых трех (first, second, third) образуются прибавлением суффикса - th к соответствующему количественному числительному. Они употребляются с определенным артиклем.

Заметьте, что номера телефонов читаются по одной цифре. Если в номере есть ноль, то он чаще всего читается как буква о [ои], хотя можно его прочесть и как zero [ноль].
Выражение o'clock после числительного ставится только для обозначения круглого часа (без минут): It's twelve o'clock.
Время по часам: сутки делятся пополам — с полуночи до полудня и с полудня до полуночи. После указания времени добавляются уточняющие сокращения а. т или р, т. Полностью эти слова никогда не произносятся, поскольку это сокращения не английских, а латинских слов ante meridiem (до полудня) и post meridiem (после полудня). Таким образом, 9 a.m. это 9 часов утра, а 5:30 p.m. — 5.30 вечера.
Час делится пополам — до получаса и после получаса. По-русски минуты всегда соотносятся с последующим часом. Когда часы показывают 3.10, мы говорим 10 минут четвертого. Указывая, в какое время что-то, происходит, употребляйте предлог at: at six o'clock
