Communications Channel
5.1Introduction
The choice of communications channel is not specified. The only provision is to reserve two bits of the interrupt controller for use by the chosen communications channel.
The Comms Tx interrupt is available for use by the communications channel transmission block to indicate that the processor may transfer messages to the communications channel.
The Comms Rx interrupt may be used by the receive block of the communications channel to indicate to the processor that messages have been received and are available for the processor to read.
