68,You are the tf graduator. What should you do in order to find a job?

This is a collection of various questions related to teaching which you might ask yourself at some point. Many formal questions (e.g., course requirement) are answered elsewhere on this website. Likewise, many of the basic questions about life as a Physics TF are answered in the Physics TF Guide, which also has a number of tips on your responsibilities as a TF, managing your time, etc. The handbook also contains a sample section outline and tips for the first days in class.

69, You are working as a translator. Describe the computer tools which you use in your activity.

What type of translation do you take on?

- Our translators and correctors are specialized in a large variety of fields: marketing, commerce, websites, legal, financial, all technical branches, sustainable development, medical, paramedical and pharmaceutical, well being, psychology, human sciences, spirituality, etc.

Our translators are journalists, software and hardware specialists, solicitors and legal experts, sworn translators, accountants, engineers and technicians, doctors, chemists, psychologists, etc.

71. You are preparing documents for an interview. What documents should you prepare and how you make it out?

if I go to an interview I will take the following documents

1. Birth Certificates

2. Police Certificate

3. Passports

4. Military Records

5. Marriage certificates

6. Evidence of work or education

7. photographs (5x5)

8. medical exam results (sent separately)

9. Payments (to make before interview)

10. Proof of financial independence

11. other documents (i.e. deportation papers, if any, court and prison records, termination of prior marriages)

72. How do you use electronic dictionaries in the academic and professional translation?

73. You work as an interpreter. You have come home tired after successful negotiations. Suddenly by the phone urgent work is offered to you. What will you do?

if it is very urgent job that I take for it. translator should be ready 24 hours a day.

74.You are a literary translator/ You are offeredto performan imformative translation. Wll you accept?

Subsidiary rights include translations, abridgements, condensations, electronic versions, audio recordings, performance rights, and so on.  You will probably want to try to retain some of these rights (such as translation and electronic-version rights)--unless you are being adequately compensated for those rights in that contract.  Retaining rights such as translation and audio-recording rights, is not usually a problem, even for first-time authors.  However, retaining other rights, such as rights to electronic publishing and electronic versions, can be difficult, if not near-impossible battles.  (I can't say "impossible" battles because you always the option of retaining all rights; it's just that you might never be published in that case.)

There are other terms that you might also want to take a good look at.  For example, if you're going to sign a multibook contract, ask your agent to have the contract written so that there will be no joint or "basket" accounting of the books.  You might also want the contract to specify that author's approval is required for condensations, abridgements, and adaptations of your work.
