Exercise 1. Read the following sentences. Pay attention to the use of the Future Simple Passive. Translate the sentences into Russian.

Exercise 12. Translate into English using the Future Simple Passive.

GET + PAST PARTICIPLE

Exercise 1. Read these sentences paying attention to the use of get instead of be in the passive. Translate the sentences into Russian.

1. There was a fight at the party but nobody got hurt. 2. I don’t often get invited to parties. 3. I’m surprised Ann didn’t get offered the job. 4. Our dog got run over by a car. 5. Exercise 5. Billy Palmer was a burglar once. He is speaking about a night some years ago when everything went wrong for him.

Complete Palmer’s story using the past simple passive with get.

‘It was terrible. First of all, my jeans got ripped (rip) as I was climbing over the garden wall. Then I (stick) climbing through the bathroom window. Then I (bit) by a dog inside the house. The dog made so much noise that everyone in the house woke up and I (hit) over the head with an umbrella. Then, when I finally got out of the house, there was a police car waiting there.
