Love Story
1. Read the story.
2. Put the story in the most likely order. Do you like the story as it is? Make up your own version. Change it in any way you like.
3. Tell your classmates “Love Story” of your parents.
Household duties
1. Read the passage about the role of a modern father.
The modern father looks after the children and helps in the house, even if his wife doesn’t go to work. The division between the roles of the mother and the father is no longer very clear. Dad does his share of childcare: he can change the baby, dress or make the dinner. This new image of the father is, of course, completely different from the still dominant, traditional dad, who represents authority, is the head of the family and makes the “important” decisions. His wife is responsible for the domestic side of the family life while he is the one who advises or punishes as necessary.
.
2. Agree or disagree with the statements:
|
I We You They |
go shopping. |
He She |
goes shopping. | |
I We You They |
don’t go shopping. | |
He She |
doesn’t go shopping. | |
|
Who |
goes shopping? |
