1. The River Thames Ship Repairers' Association:

The River Thames Ship Repairers' Association consists of а number оf firms engaged in а1l forms оf ship repairing and represents а large proportion оf the ship repairers operating in London. The volume and scope оf work carried out by member firms varies considerably depending on the individual establishment, while some оf the larger yards are capable of, and do, carry out all types of repairs to hull, deck, main and auxiliary machinery, certain other establishments specialize in such items as painting, electrical equipment, winches, pumps, chains and lifting gear.

There are four dry docks, three tidal and one floating dock owned by members оf the Association, and the dry-dock facilities offered by the Port оf London Authority are utilized for the purpose оf examination, survey, scraping and painting and necessary repairs.

Vessels with а draught of 19 feet should anchor when К. is shut in by S. and vessels with а draught of' 13 feet, when the southern point of S. is in line with the northern point of К.

At night, а vessel should approach on а bearing of L., light; keeping in the white sector, bearing between 251° and 301°, until in the red sector of N. light, bearing between 194°and 200°, when she should alter course southward and steer for N. light in that sector and anchor westward of S.
