1. Delivery of Goods to Port Authorities

Whenever it is compulsory or customary at any port to deliver the cargo to the customs or port authorities or body administration and delivery made shall be considered as final delivery, the receiver to pay all expenses connected, therewith, including quay dues.

2. Limit of Responsibility

Any claim for loss or damage under this bill of lading shall be settled on the basis of the invoice value of the goods at the port and time of shipment (with shipping expenses and freight added thereto) or а due proportion thereof, or on the declared value of goods, whichever shall be lesser, provided also that the carrier shall in no case be liable in an amount exceeding (at the option of the carrier) 250 Rbls. per package or unit, or the equivalent of that sum in other currency, unless declared with value on this bill of lading, and extra freight and vаlerem for the difference between the declared value and the limit of carrier's liability as may be agreed upon be paid.

3. Cargo to and from Belgium

For goods loaded or discharged at а Belgian port the rules of article 91 of chapter 2 of the Belgian Commercial Code shall apply.

4. Cable

А submarine cable is laid across the harbour entrance half а cable within the head of the northern mole; the landing places on the northern and southern moles are marked by notice boards.

5. Harbour facilities

Small quantities of fuel oil and coal may be obtained. Water and а small quantity of provisions can be obtained.
