To deselect objects

To deselect	Do the following
All objects	Click the Pick tool		, and click a blank
	space in the drawing window.
A single object in multiple selected objects	Hold down Shift, and click the object using
	the Pick tool	.

Copying, duplicating, and deleting objects

CorelDRAW gives you two ways to copy objects. You can cut or copy an object to place it on the Clipboard and paste it into a drawing, or you can duplicate an object. Cutting an object to the Clipboard removes it from the drawing; copying an object to the Clipboard leaves the original in the drawing; and duplicating an object places a copy directly in the drawing window, not the Clipboard. Duplicating is faster than copying and pasting.

When you no longer need an object, you can delete it.

To cut or copy an object

1Select an object.

2Click Edit, and click one of the following:

•Cut

•Copy

You can also cut or copy an object by right-clicking the object, and clicking

Cut or Copy.

To paste an object into a drawing

• Click Edit ` Paste.

To duplicate an object

1Select an object.

2Click Edit ` Duplicate.
