I’m a student of the University
My name is Oksana Danchenko. I was born and live in Kyiv. I live with my parents in the centre of the city.
My family is not very large. My parents work as economists. My grandparents were also economists. So, I can say that I'm going to follow their steps.
I studied at the lyceum with economic bias where I was very fond of mathematics, economy, economic problems, and economic reforms. While studying I decided to enter the University of Technologies and Design. The entrance exams took place in July. I took exams in Mathematics and Ukrainian. I passed all the examinations well and became a first year student at the engineer-economic faculty. My speciality is an economy of enterprise and I'm going to be an economist. My specialization is entrepreneurship at the market of goods and services. As an entrepreneur I will have to assume the responsibility and the risk for a business operation with the expectation of making a profit.
The entrepreneur generally decides on the product to select acquired the facilities needed, and brings together the labour, capital and production materials.
If the business succeeds, the entrepreneur gets the reward of profit; if it fails, he or she takes the loss. I would like to stress the role of the entrepreneur as an innovator, the person who develops a new product, a new market, or a new means of production.
Nowadays in Ukraine there is a great need for skilled economists and entrepreneurs to run small businesses as well as privatized state enterprises. That is why I'll try to do my best in mastering all the needed knowledge in basic subjects in my speciality such as economics, management, economy of an enterprise, marketing etc. in order to become a good specialist in the future at any state or private enterprise.
I hope my dream will come true some day.
