Упражнение1. Проанализируйте следующие предложения. Определите их тип. Переведите предложения на русский язык.

1. He came, he saw, he won. 2. Man has his will, but woman has her way. 3. Mr. Smith hummed as he picked out the most boring tie for work, and Mrs. Smith gossiped away happily. 4. He couldn’t bear people who dressed in funny clothes – the getups you saw on young people! 5. Paul was in a very good mood until lunchtime, when he thought he’d stretch his legs and walk across the road to buy himself a bun from the bakery. 6. He laid the baby gently on the doorstep, took the letter out of his cloak, tucked it inside the blankets, and then walked away. 7. Mrs. Jones gave him a bit of chocolate cake that tasted as though she’d had it for several years. 8. Questions exploded in Joe’s head like fireworks and he couldn’t decide which to ask first. 9. Упражнение 3.Используйте в предложении союзные слова whatever, whoever, wherever, whenever, whichever, however.
