NB! The verbs be, feel, look, smell, taste, sound are followed by adjectives to say how somebody / something feels, looks, smells, tastes or sounds:

I felt quite cheerful when we set out.

He looks intelligent.

The dinner smells good.

Note that the adjective “well” (meaning in good health) is found after the verbs be, feel and look:

I don’t feel very well.

II. Answer the following questions using the given above model. The following list of adjectives may be of help: happy, excited, gloomy, loud, depressed, tasty, relaxed, bad, active, pale, uncomfortable, sunburnt, low, appetizing, irritating, energetic, calm, unwell, stressed, cheerful, delicious, enthusiastic.
