Тема: My home is my castle

Цели:

  1. развитие умений и навыков в основных видах речевой деятельности (говорение, аудирование, чтение)

  2. активизация лексического материала

Задачи:

  1. активизировать лексический материал по теме: My home is my castle

  2. практиковать учащихся в говорении на основе ролевой игры “Listen to the neighbours”

  3. практиковать учащихся в аудировании

  4. тренировать учащихся в ознакомительном чтении на основе текста Blarney Castle.

Оборудование: УМК Upstream intermediate, раздаточный материал (карточки для ролевой игры), аудиозапись, магнитофон, доска, мел.

Время урока: 40 минут.

План урока:

  1. Приветствие, организационный момент – 0,5 мин

  2. Активизация лексического материала по теме: My home is my castle – 4,5 мин

  3. Обучение говорению (монологической речи) на основе ролевой игры – 13 мин

  4. Обучение аудированию – 9 мин

  5. Обучение ознакомительному чтению на основе страноведческого текста Blarney Castle – 10 мин

  6. Объяснение домашнего задания – 3 мин

Ход урока:

1) Приветствие, организационный момент – 0,5 мин

Teacher: Stand up, please. Good morning, pupils

Class: Good morning, teacher

T.: Sit down. Tell me please who is on duty today?

P2: I’m on duty today

T.: Who is absent today?

P2: Everyone’s present.

T.: Thank you. Today we’ll continue working on the topic “My home is my castle”

2) Активизация лексического материала по теме: My home is my castle – 5 мин

T.: Now we’ll work with the words which you’ll need when describing the place you live in. Open your textbooks at page 8, ex. 7a. Tell us which of these items are there in your house and in which room. P5, you please

refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, microwave, air conditioner, hairdryer, dishwasher, cooker, electric heater

P5: There’s a refrigerator and a cooker in our kitchen

T.: Ok, thank you. P1, you please

P1: There’s a dishwasher and a microwave in our kitchen.

T.: Thank you. P3, please

P3: There’s a vacuum cleaner in our house.

T.: And where do you keep it?

P3: We keep it in an entrance hall.

T.: Thank you. P6, you please

P6: There’s a hair dryer and a washing machine in the bathroom.

T.: Thank you. P 4, you please.

P4: There’s an air conditioner in our sitting room.

T.: Good. And what about an electric heater? P2, is there an electric heater in your house?

P2: No, there’s no electric heater in our house. We’ve a central heating.

T: Thank you! Now you should match the columns and tell us which of these you have or have not in your house. P3, you please
