My home is my castle

Read and translate this text and put three questions to it:

We live in a new house. Our apartment is on the third floor. It consists of four bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. A spacious balcony connects the kitchen with the bedroom of my parents and my own room.

Before we had moved in this apartment, we have carried out a big work here. We have installed new sanitary engineering and have laid out the walls in the bathroom with tiles. In addition, we have inserted new plastic windows. We have done our best to make the new apartment nice and comfortable. Every member of the family took part in it. First we discussed, as every room must look like. Then we bought up suitable wallpaper, carpets, curtains and pieces of furniture.

We like our apartment, and of course we try to keep it clean. Every week I tidy up my room. Then I must clean the floor everywhere. My sister has to wipe dust of tables, desks and shelves. Because our windows are produced from modern materials, it is simple for my grandmother to clean them. She also tidies up the balcony. The father beats dust from the carpets twice in the month. On Saturdays he washes the laundry in our washing machine, and then irons it. Our mother is occupied with the kitchen. I believe, it is quite difficult to accommodate all pots and plates, forks and spoons in right places, and to clean the stove. And the fridge is also sometimes washed.

We help our mother round the house. Every day after the dinner I wash up, and my sister cleans away. We also are responsible for foodstuff. That is twice a week the mother gives me a list, and I go to the food store to buy bread and butter, sausage and cheese, noodles and other products for our meals. My sister buys fruit and vegetable, as well as eggs and milk products in a market which is not far. We always help each other and keep the house together and with joy.
