Письмо-запрос

При заключении сделки первым шагом, как правило, является письмозапрос (letter of inquiry). Для сокращения дальнейшей переписки покупателю следует четко указать, какую информацию касательно товара он хочет получить от продавца (каталоги, образцы, расценки, условия и сроки доставки, методы оплаты, скидки и др.), когда ему нужен товар, в каком количестве, для чего он планирует его использовать. Marketing Strategies

Marketing means the movement of goods and services from manufacturer to customer in order to satisfy the customer and to achieve the company's objectives. Buying, selling, market research, transportation, storage, advertising

– these are all parts of marketing. The purpose of marketing is to create a situation in which a sale can be made.

Marketing can be divided into four main elements that are known as the four P’s: product, price, placement and promotion. Marketing analysts often look at a combination of these four factors. This combination of the four P’s is known as the marketing mix.

The product element of marketing refers to the good or service that a company wants to sell. Next a company considers the price to charge for its product. There are three pricing options the company may take: above, with or below the prices that its competitors are charging. Most companies price with the market and sell their goods or services for average prices established by major producers in the industry.

The third element of the marketing process placement involves getting the product to the customer. A common channel of distribution is: manufacturer – wholesaler retailer – customer. Communication about the product takes place between a buyer and a seller and is known as promotion. Promotion involves considering the packaging and presentation of the product, its image, the product name, advertising and slogans, brochures, trade exhibitions, fairs

Advertising is an important element of the marketing function. The product or service itself, its naming, packaging, pricing and distribution, are all reflected in advertising. It is used to increase sales by making the product or service known to a wider audience. Without advertising, the products or services cannot flow to the distributors or sellers and to the consumers or users. In the world of advertising, selling products is the most important goal.

Non-profit organizations are not typical advertising clients, and may rely on free modes of persuasion, such as public service announcements.

It is possible to identify seven main categories of advertising: consumer, industrial, trade, retail, financial, direct response and recruitment.

A company can advertise in a variety of ways, depending on how much it wishes to spend, and the size and type of the target audience. Mass production requires mass consumption which in turn requires advertising to the mass market through the mass media. The different media for advertising include television, magazines, newspapers, video games, the Internet, billboards and direct mail, by

which advertisers send letters, brochures and leaflets directly to potential customers.

As companies are becoming more global, they are looking for new ways to sell their products all over the world. The modern world depends on advertising. Advertising is a highly developed business. Money spent on advertising has increased dramatically in recent years. In the UK, for example, approximately 5 billion pounds is spent on advertising each year.
