Learning activities

I. Group the words according to the root.

nature, to observe, to suggest, to transfer, to apply, to identify, to encourage, to agree, to lead , to announce, observation, courage, agreement, naturalist, transference, leader, identity, agreeable, announcer, natural, observer, application, suggestion, encouragement, leadership, announcement, agreeably, identification, applicant, suggestive, unnatural.

II. Arrange the following in pairs of synonyms.

vital processes, to estimate, main, country, enormous, to like, village, great, to think, to provide, living processes, to supply, principle, to account, help, to consider, to be fond of.

III. Find the Russian equivalents of the English words arrange in pairs.

IV. Fill in articles where necessary. Explain the use of articles in these sentences.

V. Translate the sentences paying attention to the Infinitive. Define the function of the Infinitive.
