3 Transform the sentences using Passive Voice

8 Ukrainian Olympic Personalities

Oksana Baiul is a Ukrainian professional figure skater. She is the 1994 Olympic Champion in Ladies' Singles and 1993 World Champion. Baiul won the 1993 World Figure Skating Championship in her first senior competitive season at the age of 15. She then won the gold medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics, defeating Nancy Kerrigan of the United States. Baiul had nearly missed competing in the free skate altogether, having been injured after a collision with Tanja Szewczenko of Germany during a warm-up session. She required stitches in her leg, and received two Olympic-approved pain-killing injections of anesthetics which enabled her to perform and complete her free skate.

Wladimir Klitschko is a Ukrainian heavyweight boxer. In 1993, Klitschko won the Junior European Championships as a heavyweight. In 1994, he received 2nd place at the Junior World Championships in Turkey. In 1995, he won the gold medal at the Military Championships in Italy. In 1996, he captured 2nd place as a Super Heavyweight at the European Championships in Denmark. Known as "The Steel Hammer," Klitschko first achieved world attention at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia and won the Super-Heavyweight gold medal. He is now announced as "Dr. Steel Hammer," and his brother Vitali goes by "Dr. Ironfist." Since 2005, Klitschko has been the dominant force in the heavyweight division, defeating a majority of the top heavyweights in the rankings.

Lilia Podkopayeva is a Ukrainian gymnast who became the 1996 Olympic all-around champion, the 1995 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships all-around champion and the 1996 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships all-around champion. Achieving feats marked by few other gymnasts, she is widely regarded as one of the best gymnasts in history. Podkoypayeva was often referred to as the "complete package" gymnast, possessing equal qualities of technical skill and artistic expression. Her routines were known for their expressive choreography, clean execution and extremely difficult skills.

Kateryna Serebrianskaya is a former Individual Rhythmic Gymnast. In the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, she dazzled the audience with her technically brilliant routines; her clean execution assured her of the gold medal. Serebrianskaya became the first female rhythmic gymnast to hold the European, World, and Olympic all-around titles at the same time.

Yana Klochkova is a Ukrainian swimmer, who has won five Olympic medals in her career, with four of them being gold. Her gold medals came in the 200 meter individual medley and the 400 meter individual medley at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics; her silver medal came in the 800 meter freestyle at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She has also won ten titles at swimming's world championships, nineteen European championship titles. In 2003 she won four golds at the Summer Universiade in South Korea. In 2004, she was named by Swimming World magazine as the World Female Swimmer of the Year.

Viktor Ruban is a Ukrainian athlete, who competes in archery. At the 2004 Summer Olympics Ruban was a member of the bronze medal Ukrainian men's archery team. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing Ruban claimed the gold medal.
