He said, ‘I entered the faculty three months ago.’

He said that he had entered the faculty three

months before.

He said, ‘I have translated two articles this week.’

He said that he had translated two articles

that week.

She said, ‘You can take these books.’

She said that I could take those books.

I said: `You I can’t see Mike here`.

I said that she couldn’t see Mike there.

He said, ‘I left school last year.’

He said he had left school the year before

She said: `I bought a car last month`.

She said that she had bought a car the month

before.

My friend said, ‘I went to the cinema last week.’

My friend said that he had gone to the cinema

the week before.

She said, ‘I will go on holiday next Saturday.’

She said that she would go on holiday

the following Saturday.
