Интонация

Интонация – это повышение и понижение голосового тона в процессе речи. В интонации английского предложения существуют два основных тона: нисходящий и восходящий.

Нисходящий тон выражает законченность мысли, категоричность высказывания.

а) Повествовательные предложения:

(Yes.	Да.
I don’t (know.	Я не знаю.

b). Повелительные предложения:

'Go ( home! Идите домой!

c). Специальные вопросы:

'What do you (want? Что вы хотите?

d). Вторая часть альтернативного вопроса:

'Do you 'learn &English or (French?

Ты учишь английский или французский язык?

e). Первая, иногда вторая часть разделительного

вопроса:

You are a (student, (aren’t you?

С восходящим тоном произносятся:

а). Общие вопросы:

'Are you a &student? Вы студент?

b). Первая часть альтернативного вопроса:

'Is he a &doctor or a (teacher? Он врач или учитель?

c). Вторая часть разделительного вопроса:

He is an (economist, &isn’t he? Он экономист, не так

ли?

d). Все элементы перечисления, кроме последнего:

'Give me a &pen, a &pencil, a &book and some (paper.

e). Предложения, выражающие просьбу:

Вопросительные местоимения выделяются

ударением:
