The gerund
Герундий является неличной формой глагола, которая сочетает в себе свойства глагола и существительного. В отличие от инфинитива герундий передает оттенок процесса действия.
В русском языке нет формы глагола, соответствующей английскому герундию. Формы герундия совпадают с формами причастия.
