Предисловие
Настоящее учебное пособие предназначено для студентов неязыковых высших учебных заведений, изучающих английский язык по направлению подготовки 140600 – Электротехника, электромеханика и электротехнологии.
Такие отрасли науки и техники, как промышленная электроника, электропривод, электромеханика и смежные с ними, уже довольно хорошо изучены, но в связи с недостаточным количеством учебной литературы по вышеупомянутому направлению на английском языке, а также постоянным развитием процессов производства, задачами учебного пособия являются обучение студентов чтению специальной научно-технической литературы для извлечения необходимой информации, пополнение студентами их лексического запаса по заданной тематике и обучение технике перевода с английского языка на родной язык.
Учебным пособием предусмотрено повторение основных грам-матических тем, рассмотренных на первом курсе, а также углуб-ленное изучение тех грамматических и лексических явлений, которые необходимы будущим специалистам для профессионального обще-ния на иностранном языке.
Предлагаемое учебное пособие включает в себя шесть тематических уроков, тексты для внеаудиторного чтения, а также приложение, состоящее из поурочного грамматического справочника, таблицы неправильных глаголов, требований, предъявляемых к составлению саммэри и аннотации. Каждый урок состоит из основного текста, который предполагает работу на изучающее чтение и двух дополнительных текстов на просмотровое и ознакомительное виды чтения. Все тексты в уроке объединены общей тематикой. Тематика текстов определяется минимумом общетехнических знаний, которыми обладают студенты. Тексты носят аутентичный характер с учетом их информативности и соответствия современным научно-техническим достижениям.
Предтекстовая часть содержит лексические упражнения на введение нового и активизацию ранее изученного вокабуляра, упражнения на словообразование содержат, в основном, активную лексику.
Первый текст (TEXT А) урока является основным и подлежит тщательной проработке и анализу тех грамматических и лексических явлений, которым посвящен данный урок.
В послетекстовой части используются задания на изучение деталей прочитанного текста. Эти упражнения направлены на распознавание новой лексики в тексте, ее активизацию в речи и систематизацию, помогают осуществлять контроль понимания текс-та.
Второй текст (TEXT В) активизирует у студентов навыки озна-комительного чтения с помощью предтекстовых и послетекстовых заданий.
Третий текст (TEXT С) тематического урока предполагает самостоятельную работу студентов с последующим контролем понимания прочитанного.
Для практического использования приобретенных знаний сту-дентам нужно улучшать умения и навыки работы с иностранным языком. Поэтому в учебное пособие введены тексты для внеаудиторного чтения, которые по тематике и лексике связаны с основным текстом каждого урока. Они рассчитаны на закрепление лексического материала и грамматических конструкций, а также на совершенствование умения самостоятельно работать с текстом и выражать свое мнение о прочитанном.
Неотъемлемой частью языковой компетенции является умение составить доклад, аннотацию на профессиональные темы, для чего в данном учебном пособии приведены специальные упражнения.
Грамматический блок упражнений включает в себя повторение грамматических явлений, изученных в течение 1 курса. Упражнения составлены на основе лексики по данным специальностям. С этой же целью в конце данного пособия предлагается грамматический справочник, который освещает основные правила грамматики английского языка.
