Write personal letters in an informal style, so:

• use informal linkers, contractions: e.g. I'm sorry.

• resort to exclamation marks to add emphasis: e.g. I'm going out with this amazing guy!!

• put dashes to explain: e.g. I'm so busy - you know what it's like.

• make use of colloquial vocabulary: my mates (friends); it's cool (great).

Правила написания личных писем.

1. Внимательно прочитайте письмо и найдите все вопросы, на которые нужно ответить.

2. Чтобы не выйти за рамки установленного объема (100 – 140 слов) напишите сначала основу письма: краткий адрес (город, страна), дату, обращение, начало письма (благодарность за письмо, извинение, что не писал), три разных типа вопросов по информации пишущего, заключение письма (причина завершения, ссылка на будущие контакты), завершающая фраза, подпись. Сосчитайте количество слов.

3. Только определив оставшийся объем содержания, приступайте к ответу на вопросы автора письма. Будьте внимательны, полно и развернуто отвечайте на вопросы. Если спрашивается про всех сверстников, не пишите только про себя. Будьте предельно точны.
