Thank you for your letter of 26 April giving details of the shipping arrangements concerning 200 cartons of Busybee Ties. As requested we enclose an endorsed clean Bill of

Lading. We have also notified the Customs office of your competence to act as our agents in this matter.

As to despatch, you may recall from our earlier correspondence our intention of depositing the consignment in a bonded warehouse until such time as we found suitable retail outlets. One such outlet has been found and we should be grateful to you if you would forward a consignment of five cartons, carriage forward, to ZAO InterRus, Moscow Devjatinskij per. 12. They require this consignment urgently, so please send at the first available opportunity.

Dear Mr Al Bashta,

We thank you for your letter of 15th October. We would be glad to meet you in Moscow and discuss the opportunity of being represented by a firm of your stature and reputation.

For your information, and as a basis for discussion, we enclose a draft Agency Agreement drawn up by our legal department and containing most of the terms and conditions which apply between our agents and ourselves. We would like to

emphasize

that

the

following clauses

should not be subject

to negotiations and

alterations:

 

 

1.All prices quoted by us shall remain unchanged when passed to the final-end customer.

2.Commission shall be paid quarterly within 45 days of the date of our statement

and

shall

not

be

deducted

from

your

invoices.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.A discount of 2.5% applies to all orders in excess of $3,000.

4.You shall report monthly on the volume of sales for that month. A bank remittance for the amount of these sales shall accompany your report.

We are enclosing our price lists and discounts, which are in line with those of other companies in the field. We hope you will see in our offer a worthwhile opportunity.
