General Purpose Cranes

Jarvis Rail’s General Purpose Crane is used to support all railway work and is capable of lifting up to 12 tons. It can be used in tandem with another crane for lifting track panels and is particularly useful for switch and crossing work. This machine must always be loco hauled to site. Jarvis Rail’s GP cranes were manufactured by Plasser and Theurer and Cowan and Sheldon.
