Complex Object (сложное дополнение объектный инфинитивный оборот) |
Complex Object состоит из существительного или личного местоимения в объектном падеже (me, him, her, us, you, them) и инфинитива и употребляется после глаголов, выражающих желание, восприятие, предположение, приказание, просьбу.

На русский язык Complex Object, в большинстве случаев, переводится придаточным предложением с союзами чтобы, что, как.
Не всякий английский глагол может принимать после себя Complex Object. После некоторых глаголов, принимающих Complex Object, инфинитив используется с частицей to, после других – без частицы to. В некоторых случаях в конструкции Complex Object используется не инфинитив, а причастие.
