Perfect Continuous Present Perfect Continuous

При употреблении этого времени всегда указывается период времени, в течение которого совершается действие: for (a long time, some years) в течение (долгого времени, нескольких лет), since (yesterday, 5 o'clock) со вчерашнего дня, с 5 часов).

Глагол в Present Perfect Continuous образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to be в форме Present Perfect и четвертой формы смыслового глагола: have/has+been+V 4(=V-ing):

He has been working at this laboratory for 5 years.

How long has he been working at this laboratory?

He has not been working at the laboratory for a long time.
