VIII. Render from Russian into English:
Вшивость- это зараженность человека вшами. Вши - это паразиты, кровососущие насекомые. Их жизненный цикл проходит на хозяине. Вообще известно более 150 видов вшей. Головная, платяная и лобковая вошь паразитируют на человеке. Различают следующие стадии их развития: гнида, личинка (нимфа), взрослая особь. Оптимальная температура для откладки яиц 28-30 градусов. Яйца приклеиваются самкой к волосам и ворсинкам*
ткани. Сроки вылупления и дальнейшее развитие личинок зависят от окружающей* температуры. Весь цикл развития длиться не менее 15 дней. Платяная вошь может жить до 2 месяцев, головная - около 4 недель. Вши на всех стадиях (кроме гниды) питаются только кровью.
При вшивости головы развивается сильный зуд. Это может вести к расчесам, а затем к гнойничковым поражениям кожи.
Платяные вши поражают кожу в местах контакта с одеждой (в подмышечных впадинах, на спине, в паху). При длительном развитии завшивленности кожа на этих участках становится уплотненной и пигментированной.
Распространение вшивости связано с неудовлетворительными санитарно-гигиеническими условиями. Вшивость - частый спутник социальных проблем. Вши являются переносчиками эпидемического
сыпного тифа и окопной лихорадки.
Лекарства в свободной продаже используются для лечения вшивости. Можно также использовать гребни для вычесывания вшей и гнид из волос. Стирка одежды при высокой температуре помогает устранить платяных вшей.
