VII. Render the following text in English.

Служба таможенного надзора – испанская правоохранительная организация, осуществляющая расследование таких преступлений, как контрабанда, незаконный ввоз и вывоз наркотиков, неуплата налогов, отмывание денег и другие финансовые нарушения. Таможенная служба была создана как военная организация, которая должна была охранять испанскую монополию на табак, установленную в 1636 году. Торговля табаком являлась основным источником доходов для испанского министерства финансов в 17-18 вв. Новейшая история испанской таможенной службы началась в 1944 году с созданием специальной службы по борьбе с контрабандой табака на море и на суше. В 1954 году данная служба была реорганизована министерством финансов и трансформирована в службу по финансовому надзору, а в 1982 году – в службу по таможенному надзору, и в круг ее обязанностей были включены борьба с экономическими преступлениями и с контрабандой наркотиков. Испанская таможенная служба функционирует в тесном сотрудничестве с рядом международных организаций, включая Всемирную Таможенную Организацию.
