EXERCISE 3. Translate into Russian.

EXERCISE 4. State the syntactical function of the Gerunds in the following:

1. I like skating better than any other sport. 2. His managing the sailboat so skillfully saved him from a shipwreck. 3. EXERCISE 5. Use the Gerund or the Infinitive or both after the verbs in the following:

EXERCISE 6. Translate into English, using the Gerund Constructions:
