A report
This report has been produced at the request of the Hotel and Catering Association. The survey on which the report (1) _________ was carried out between March 25 and March 30, 2002. WHY DOES NOTHING EXIST?
Did nothing always exist or (1) was it invented ? ‘Nothing’ is zero or nought (0). It is a very useful idea and it (2)________ by many different names. In football, 0 (3)_________ to as ‘nil’. So we say: ‘Liverpool (4)________ two-nil (2-0) at home by Manchester United.’ When you (5)_________ marks in a test, you hope you will never get ‘nought’ out of ten or twenty.
