29. Subjunctive Mood. Сослагательное наклонение.
Сослагательное наклонение употребляется в следующих типах предложений:
-
1.a) В условных предложениях II типа (маловероятные, предполагаемые, желаемые, нереальные действия, относящиеся к настоящему и будущему времени).
Придаточное предложение:
If + Past Simple or
Past Continuous
Главное предложение:
would/could/
might + Indefinite Infinitive (без to)
1.If I had a lot of money, I would help the poor.
2.If you typed more slowly, you would make fewer mistakes.
3.If he were not so absent minded, he wouldn’t lose his things.
1. Если бы у меня были деньги,
я помогал бы бедным.
2. Если бы ты печатал медленнее,
ты делал бы меньше ошибок.
3. Если бы он не был таким рассеянным,
он не терял бы своих вещей.
1.в) В условных предложениях III типа (нереальные действия, относящиеся к прошедшему времени.)
Придаточное предложение - If + Past Perfect or Past Perfect Continuous:
If the weather had been fine yesterday,
we would have gone for a walk.
Главное предложение - would/could/
might +have + Past Participle:
1. If you had invited me to your birthday party, I would have come.
2. She wouldn’t have got wet, unless she had forgotten to take her umbrella.
3. But for your help, I couldn’t have finished this work in time.
1. Если бы ты пригласил меня на свой день рождения, я пришел бы.
2. Она не промокла бы, если бы не забыла взять зонтик.
3.Если бы не твоя помощь, я не смог бы закончить эту работу вовремя.
1.в) Mixed Type:
If I were you, I would have learned English long ago.
Had you warned me, I wouldn’t help him with his work.
На твоем бы месте, я давно бы выучил английский.
Если бы ты меня предупредил, я не помогал бы ему в работе.
2. В придаточных предложениях подлежащих ( Subject Clauses) с союзом that и глаголом should (для всех лиц) + инфинитив (или инфинитив без to) после безличных оборотов:
It is/was necessary, It is important, It is strange, It is suggested, It is desirable, It is recommended, It is ordered, It is requested, etc.
It is/was necessary that he ( should) know the truth.
Необходимо, чтобы он знал правду.
3.В придаточных дополнительных предложениях (Object Clauses) с союзом that и глаголом should (для всех лиц) + инфинитив (или инфинитив без to) после глаголов: suggest, demand, insist, order, propose, desire, be anxious, etc.
I suggest that you (should) stay here.
Я предлагаю, чтобы Вы остались здесь.
4.После глагола wish. (Перевод: хотел бы, как жаль, что)
I wish I knew English well.
Я хотел бы знать английский хорошо. (Как жаль, что я не знаю английского хорошо.)
I wish I hadn’t done it yesterday.
Как жаль, что я сделал это вчера.
I wish he would come to us tomorrow.
Я хотел бы, чтобы он приехал к нам завтра.
5.После союзов :a) as if, as though
She speaks as if she knew everything.
Она разговаривает так, как будто все знает.
It was as if she were angry with him.
Похоже было, что она сердится на него.
б) that, so that, in order that + may/might
He entered the room noiselessly, so that he might not wake the sleeping child.
Он вошел в комнату бесшумно, так чтобы не разбудить спящего ребенка.
в) even if, even though
I couldn’t believe it even if it were true.
Я не мог бы поверить в это, если бы даже это была правда.
г) lest + should + Infinitive
He fears/feared lest he should be blamed.
Он боится (боялся), чтобы его не обвинили.
She kept silence lest she should begin to cry.
Она молчала, чтобы не заплакать.
д) После слова time:
It’s time you knew it.
Пора вам это знать.
It’s time we should go home.
Пора нам уйти домой.
е) после существительных: wish, suggestion, aim, idea, etc. + should
My aim that you should understand everything.
Моя цель, чтобы Вы все поняли.
ж) После словосочетаний: I’m sorry/ glad/ pleased, etc. + should
I am sorry you should take such trouble because of me.
Я сожалею, что доставляю Вам такое беспокойство.
The Imperative Mood. Повелительное наклонение
-
Wait for me.
Do take care of yourself.
Don’t wait for me.
Let’s go there.
Let him do it.
Don’t let him do it.
