The Present Perfect Tense
Present Perfect образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to have в форме настоящего времени (have, has) и формы причастия прошедшего времени (Past Participle) смыслового глагола: I have worked, he has worked, we have worked.
Have I worked? Has he worked? Have we worked?
I have not worked, he has not worked, we have not worked.
Have I not worked? Has he not worked? Have we not worked?
Present Perfect Tense
Present Perfect
а) I have broken my pencil.
Он мог бы это выразить также предложением: My pencil is broken.
б) Has the secretary come?
Он мог бы поэтому выразить свой вопрос также предложением: Is the secretary here?
в) I have opened the window.
Он мог бы это выразить также предложением: The window is open.
г) I have not written my exercise.
My exercise is not written [is not ready].
д) My father has gone to London.
My father is in London.
е) We have built hundreds of new schools in Moscow.
There are hundreds of new schools in Moscow.
а) I have not read that book.
I don't know the contents of that book.
б) They have informed me of the time of shipment of the goods.
I know the time of shipment of the goods.
-
Present Perfect
I have read this book twice.
I have seen the film Matrix three times.
4. Present Perfect
I have broken my pen.
Не has left Moscow.
She has finished her work.
I have never read that book.
Не hasn't finished his work yet.
6. Present Perfect может употребляться также с обстоятельственными словами, обозначающими еще не истекшие периоды времени - today сегодня, this week на этой неделе, this month в этом месяце, this year в этом году и т.
Have you read the newspaper today?
Не has not received any letters from her this week.
Present Perfect.
Past Indefinite:
She went to t theatre with her brother
They left in a hurry.
Past Indefinite
Suvorov never lost a single battle.
Did you ever speak to him on this subject while you were in Petersburg?
Past Indefinite употребляется также и при наличии слов, обозначающих еще не истекшие периоды времени, как today, this week, this month и т.
I got up early today.
Не was late for the lecture today.

С другой стороны, Present Perfect никогда не употребляется с такими обозначениями прошедших моментов или периодов времени как yesterday, last week, an hour ago, at five o'clock n т. п., с которыми употребляется Past Indefinite: He left Moscow yesterday.
When did he leave Moscow?
Present Perfect:
I haven't received any letters from him lately
I have just seen him.
Past Indefinite: I saw him just now.
I haven't heard from him since June.
Past Indefinite:
I have only received two letters from him since I came back from London.
I haven’t heard from him since he left Moscow.
The Past Perfect Tense
I had worked, he had worked.
Had I worked? Had he worked?
I had not worked, he had not worked.
Had I not worked? Had he not worked?
