The Secretary-General of the United Nations presents his compliments to the Permanent Representatives of ... to the United Nations and has the honour to refer to General Assembly resolution 40/159 of 16 December 19__ entitled "Implementation of the Collective Security
Provisions of the Charter of the United Nations for the Maintenance of International Peace and Security", a copy of which is attached.
By this resolution, the Assembly, inter alia, invited those Member States that have not yet done so, to communicate no later than 30 April
