Exercise 16: Before translation study the theory of motto translation:
С логан – это рекламный девиз, который кратко передает рекламное сообщение и используется компаниями для привлечения внимания целевой аудитории, стимулирования продаж, а также для повышения лояльности потребителей к бренду. Перевод слоганов, которыми часто сопровождаются бренды на сегодняшний день является актуальным и необходимым элементом рекламной деятельности. Перевод слоганов приравнивается к художественному переводу, т. к. для того чтобы выполнить качественный художественный перевод, необходимо обладать достаточно высоким культурным уровнем, знать культурные традиции и особенности как языка оригинала, так и переводящего языка, что также необходимо для перевода туристских слоганов.
Основная цель перевода слоганов – заинтересовать потенциального потребителя услуг, вызвать у него интерес и желание приобрести рекламируемый товар или услугу.
Прямой дословный перевод при переводе туристских слоганов не подходит, т. к. фразы должны легко запоминаться и при этом нести смысловую нагрузку. Поэтому в таком случае перевод как таковой отступает на второй план, а на первый план выходит написание на языке перевода, отталкиваясь от оригинала, нового рекламного текста. Переводчик оказывается почти перед неразрешимой задачей – воссоздать все в переводе и при этом не слишком отойти от оригинала. Т. е. основная сложность при таких переводах – суметь донести до потенциального потребителя не просто содержание, но также передать эмоциональный настрой посредством качественного перевода.
