1.4. Translate into English:

1. При застосуванні методу зрошення дощуванням вода подається на поверхню ґрунту у вигляді бризок. Цей метод поливу має переваги над іншими видами зрошення. Його можна застосовувати майже для всіх типів ґрунтів, особливо піщаних, які швидко поглинають воду.

2. Даний метод дає змогу запобігти ерозії ґрунту на пагористій місцевості. Крім того, його застосування не потребує наявності потужних водних джерел. Він є дуже ефективним для всіх основних сільськогосподарських культур, крім рису, який потребує стоячої води.

3. Однак, системи зрошення дощуванням мають ряд недоліків. При застосуванні цього методу є можливим негативний вплив вітру. У цьому випадку окремі ділянки ґрунтової поверхні отримують занадто багато води, а інші зовсім мало.

4. Для найбільш ефективного використання зрошувального обладнання потрібно забезпечити безперервне водопостачання. Крім того, початкова вартість встановлення дощувальних систем дуже висока.
