Порядок прилагательных
1) субъективная, наша оценка предмета: good, nice, nasty, terrible;
2) размер: big, small;
3) форма: round, oval;
4) возраст: old, new;
5) цвет: black, white;
6) происхождение: English, French;
7) материал: wooden, plastic;
8) функция: writing, shaving.

Обозначает желательное или нежелательное действие
Слова: as if, as though – как-будто; if only - если бы только; I wish - жаль.
Образование Subjunctive II
Нереальное действие одновременно с реальным: Past Simple
He speaks as if he knew everything – Он говорит как будто он все знает
I wish he were here – Мне жаль, что его здесь нет
I wish I had more time – Жаль, что у меня мало времени
If only the weather were nice today – Если бы только сегодня была хорошая погода
Нереальное действие предшествует: Past perfect
He speaks as if he had known them for a long time – Он говорит так, как будто он давно их знал
I wish I had watched this film – Жаль, что я не посмотрел этот фильм раньше
Нереальное действие в будущем, обычно I wish - хотелось бы: Would + I form
I wish it would stop raining – Хотелось бы, чтобы дождь закончился
I wish they would follow my advice – Хотелось бы, чтобы они последовали моему совету.
