Let me introduce myself. I am Alexander Borisov. I am 18 (years old). Now I am a first –year student of the Academy of Law and Management of the Federal Penal Service of the Russian Federation.
Our family is rather large. I have a father, a mother, a brother and a sister.
My father’s name is Igor Ivanovich. He is 45 years old. He is an engineer and works at a big plant. He likes his work and spends much of his time there.
My mother’s name is Olga Petrovna. She is 43. She is a teacher of music and plays the piano well. My mother has a lot of work at home. She looks after the house and takes care of all of us. Of course, we all help her.
My older brother’s name is Pavel. Pavel is 24. He is a doctor and works at a hospital. He is very busy: he has a lot of patients and does all he can to help them. My brother is married and has a family of his own.
His wife’s name is Sveta. Sveta is a dress –maker, but doesn’t work now. Sveta and Pavel have a little daughter and Sveta looks after her. The little girl’s name is Ann and she is only 2 years old. Pavel and his family live not far from us. Sometimes they visit us and we all play with Ann.
My sister is 3 years younger than me. Her name is Alla and she is a pupil of the 10th (tenth) form. Alla does well at school and gets only good and excellent marks. She wants to become a doctor like Pavel.
Our family is very friendly. We like to spend time together. In the evenings we watch TV, read books or talk about the events of the day. We like to spend our week-ends in the village where my grandparents live. My grandfather and grandmother are pensioners and they prefer to live in the country.
