California & the west coach tours
Choose from our 6 West Coast coach tours travelling over 6, 7, 8, or 13 nights and enjoy the very best of California, Arizona, Nevada and Mexico.
We offer two 13 night options — the Best of the West and Scenic Parks Explorer. Best Of The West begins in Los Angeles and include overnight stays in San Francisco, Mammoth Lakes, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, San Diego and Anaheim. The Scenic Parks Explorer tour begins in Las Vegas and visits some of the most spectacular national parks in the US, including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, Arches, The Grand Canyon and Mt Rushmore.
The Californian is a 8 night tour travelling from San Diego to San Francisco, via San Juan, Los Angeles, Monterey and the Yosemite National Park.
There are two 7 night tours — The Scenic West and The Trail- blazer. The Scenic West starts in Las Vegas and makes stops in Zion National Park, Lake Powell, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix and San Diego before ending up in Los Angeles. The Trailblaz- er starts and finishes in Las Vegas, and visits Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and The Grand Canyon.
Finally the 6 night Best Of The Canyonlands tour travels from Denver through Arches and Mesa Verde National Parks and onto the Grand Canyon. From there it heads to the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas.

Day 1 Sunday or Thursday Arrive Las Vegas Hotel: Las Vegas Hilton.
Make your own way to your hotel and your Tour Director will be available from 1—6 pm.
Day 2 Monday or Friday Las Vegas — Zion NP— Bryce Canyon NP Hotel: Best Western Ruby’s Inn — Today’s journey takes us through St. George before reaching spectacular Zion National Park. Next onto magical Bryce Canyon where we visit the amphitheatre of “Hoodoos”. This evening we get together for a hosted welcome drink and dinner.
Day 3 Tuesday or Saturday Bryce Canyon — Salt Lake City — Hotel: Sheraton City Center — We’re off to Salt Lake City for a city tour including the Assembly Hall and the magnificent Mormon tabernacle. Site of the Winter 2002 Olympic Games, Salt Lake City has many attractions. Enjoy an included dinner in the city this evening.
Day 4 Wednesday or Sunday Salt Lake City — Jackson Hole
Hotel: Antler Inn — Today we travel across the Oregon Trail en route to Jackson, a town with an authentic old-western atmosphere where you will enjoy dinner tonight.
Day 5 Thursday or Monday Jackson — Grand Teton NP — Yellowstone NP Hotel: Yellowstone Park Lodges — We visit Grand Teton National Park and then world famous Yellowstone, an amazing geothermal wonderland. Home to elk and rare bears, Yellowstone also has one of the few large herds of Buffalo still in existence.
Day 6 Friday or Ttaesday Yellowstone National Park Sightseeing Hotel: Yellowstone Park Lodges — A fall day tour of Yellowstone today. Highlights include Yellowstone Lake and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. See the blast of Old Faithful Geyser, which erupts almost every hour, and enjoy views of Yellowstone Canyon.
Day 7 Saturday or Wednesday Yellowstone — Cody — Billings
Hotel: Sheraton Billings — This morning we visit Cody, named after Buffalo Bill Cody. Here we learn about his adventures during a visit to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The onto the historic cattle town of Billings where dinner is included tonight.
Day 8 Sunday or Thursday Billings — Deadwood —Rapid City
Hotel: Radisson Rapid City — Our first stop is at the Little Bighorn National Monument, site of‘Custer’s Last Stand’. Next is Deadwood, where Wild Bill Hickock, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday once lived. We visit Ta Tanka, Stoiy of the Bison, a new attraction with a recreated Indian village and costumed interpreters. Then we make our way to Rapid City, where we spend the next two nights. Dinner is included tonight.
Day 9 Monday or Friday Mt. Rushmore — Crazy Horse Sightseeing Hotel: Radisson Rapid City — Today we visit the Crazy Horse Memorial. The monument honours Chief Crazy Horse and all Native Americans. We also learn the story behind Mount Rushmore, followed by incredible views of this fabulous sculpture.
Day 10 Tuesday or Saturday Rapid City — Black Hills — Denver Hotel: Sheraton Four Points Cherry Creek — Today starts with a drive through the Black Hills National Forest. Then on through the National Grassland prairies of South Dakota and Wyoming into Colorado to arrive at the Mile High City. A dinner in Denver is included tonight.
Day 11 Wednesday or Sunday Denver — Arches National Park — Moab Hotel: Ramada Inn — We travel up into the Rocky Mountains and follow the Colorado River into Utah. Here we explore the amazing wonderland of Arches National Park. Finally onto Moab.
Day 12 Thursday or Monday Moab— Mesa Verde — Kayen-
ta Hotel: Holiday Inn Kayenta — Today we visit a World Heritage site, Mesa Verde National Park. Enjoy a tour highlighting some of the outstanding archeological finds. Later we head to Kayenta on the Navajo Indian Reservation for an included dinner tonight.
Day 13 Friday or Tuesday Kayenta — Monument Valley — Grand Canyon Hotel: Grand Canyon Park Lodges — The giant monoliths of Monument Valley are world famous and we can only tour the Valley with the permission of the Navajo Indians. Then we continue to the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon. Photo stops are included on our tour of the South Rim.
Day 14 Saturday or Wednesday Grand Canyon — Depart Las Vegas Today we travel along parts of Route 66 on our way back to the mecca of gambling. Our tour ends in Las Vegas with arrival at the airport at approximately 4.00 pm.
