Other Grammatical Forms to Express Future Meaning

to be going to + Infinitive

to be about to + Infinitive

to be on the point of + Ving (Gerund)

Exercise 75

Be going to + Infinitiveis used to express a future intention or plan; a prediction when there is evidence that something is going to happen in the future; things we are sure about or we have already decided to do in the near future.

What are they going to do?

Match sentences from the two columns. Then write new sentences with be going to.
