Change the Active to Passive.

Example:

  • Alex is preparing that report.

  • That report is being prepared by Alex.

  1. Two horses were pulling the farmer’s wagon.

  2. Is Mr. Brown painting your house?

  3. Someone was making the coffee when I walked into the kitchen.

  4. Professor Rivers is not teaching that course this semester.

  5. When are you meeting your business partners?

  6. Commercials are advertising goods and services on TV.

  7. The secretary was typing the letter.

  9. The teacher is asking us to use the passive.
