4 - Sequencer

Sequence Input

Sequence Input

This screen allows you to quantize and add swing to a sequence as it is recorded. This is particularly useful when recording drum parts. When you know you want a track to be quantized this is the fastest and easiest way to do it.

Quantize Input. Turns Input Quantization On (yes) or Off (no).

v To Set the Input Functions:

 

1.

From the main sequencer screen, press the Edit function key (F3).

 

2.

Press the Setup function key (F3). A second row of function keys

Press the Input function key (F3). The screen shown above appears.

Turn input Quantize On or Off (Yes or No).

 

5.

Set the Quantization Amount.

 

6.

Select the Swing percentage if desired (50% = No Swing).

Press Exit to lock in the Sequence Input settings and return to the

 

 

Sequence Edit screen.
